William A. Barth, a native of Minonk, Illinois, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University in 1979. While at Cornell, he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with distinction. He was then admitted to the University of Chicago and received his J.D. degree in 1982. Mr. Barth is admitted to the Kentucky Bar and also admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Seventh Circuit, and the United States District Courts for both the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky.
Mr. Barth’s extensive practice of immigration law has developed over the past 35 years in both large and medium-sized firms in the Louisville area. Over time, his immigration practice has come to concentrate in providing legal services for businesses by securing temporary visas (including H, L, TN, and E) and permanent visas for their employees, assisting families in obtaining green cards as well as temporary visas. His immigration clients include Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Kleinert, Kutz and Associates Hand Care Center, PLLC, Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Micro Surgery, and a variety of businesses both large and small.
In addition to immigration law, Mr. Barth has extensive experience with business and commercial law and trademark and copyright law.
